  • Amy Phelps
    Amy Phelps
    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Amy L. Phelps is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and mother of three active little girls. She has extensive clinical experience in the areas of pediatrics, pelvic health, and the aging individual. Amy was born and raised in a small town in Maine and knew from an early age that she was called to serve those in need. She received her BS in Liberal Arts with a minor in Psychology from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. She then went on to volunteer with Americore in an after-school program where she served as a reading tutor and assisted in running the government assisted snack program and with marketing.

    Amy entered Chapman University’s DPT program in California a year later and received a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy in 2005. She became a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) in 2010 and has achieved certification in women’s health through the American Physical Therapy Association. Through her own struggles with changes in physical ability and the frustration of dealing with insurance companies that fall short of providing easy access to necessary care, Amy developed a unique perspective of compassion and understanding that makes her an effective provider for people of all ages and abilities.

  • Nathan Phelps
    Nathan Phelps
    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Nathan G. Phelps is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Nathan was 1 of only 64 specialists in the state at the time of his examination, which is less than 4% of the current treating physical therapists. Furthermore, as a Teaching Assistant in orthopedics at George Fox University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, Nathan stays up to date on the most current treatment approaches.

    Nathan received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Oregon State University and then went to Chapman University where he graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Patients who are experiencing musculoskeletal pain, neurological pain or need post-operative rehab would greatly benefit from his expertise.

    Nathan also has advanced knowledge in diagnostics, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise. He combines a whole-body approach through a differential diagnostic evaluation to treat specific pain conditions. This provides patients with the best opportunity to reduce/eliminate pain from their daily lives.

  • Rikki Versteeg
    Rikki Markham
    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Rikki Markham PT, DPT graduated from Pacific University in 2014 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Along with orthopedic conditions, she specializes in treating pelvic health dysfunction whether it be pain, incontinence (bowel or bladder), constipation, prenatal/postnatal care, decreased tolerance to intercourse, diastasis recti or core weakness, complications from prostatitis, low back pain, or recovery from C-section.

    Rikki is currently working on obtaining her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health through the American Physical Therapy Association. Being a native of Alaska, she finds herself at home with the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys running, baking, and spending time with her family (her husband, daughter, and their black lab).

  • Ken Scoggin
    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Ken Scoggin is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and native Oregonian who recently moved back from Vancouver, WA where he was the lead therapist for two outpatient PT clinics. He received his doctorate from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and his Bachelors of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon. While attending the University of Oregon, he was a member of the track and cross country team.

    Ken is working towards becoming an Orthopedic Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Along with treating the diverse field of orthopedics he has experience in treating running and sports injuries. Outside of the clinic, Ken is interested in running and exploring the Portland metro area for the next good place to eat.

  • Jess Smith
    Doctor of Occupational Therapy

    Jess Smith graduated from Northern Arizona University with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. She previously received her undergraduate in Kinesiology at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California.

    Jess worked with the Veteran Affairs hospital in outpatient hand therapy during her fieldwork rotation in Phoenix, Arizona and has been completing a mentorship program at Sports Medicine Oregon. Furthermore, Jess completed her residency at OHSU’s Parkinson’s Clinic, where she cultivated her skills in neuro-rehabilitation while falling in love with the beauty of the pacific northwest.

    Jess has been taking pediatric continuing education courses and is excited to apply her skills in neuro-rehabilitation and sensory integration to the pediatric setting. Her schedule is open to see hand therapy and pediatric patients!

  • Sydney Osborne
    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Sydney Osborne, DPT received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Linfield College. Sydney is very active, as she played basketball for the Linfield Wildcats and coached a high school freshman team. Prior to attending graduate school, she had the opportunity to travel abroad in Japan, work as a Health Fitness instructor and earn her Personal Trainer certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. Sydney then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Arizona. Since returning to Oregon, she focuses her expertise in the outpatient orthopedic setting.

    She specializes in pelvic rehabilitation, treating pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women, pregnancy and postpartum care, and other interconnected conditions of the pelvis, hip, and spine. In her free time, she enjoys training for both half and full Ironman triathlons, hiking, and paddle boarding!

    Elena graduated from George Fox University in 2018, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. She is also a certified Athletic Trainer.

    Elena is working as a physical therapy aide and loves working with patients to help them reach their therapy goals! In the future, she aspires to return to school and earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
